Going to be interesting to see how Moyes approaches this one and who he starts? ALL cups are important but I reckon it’s the Conference that will be the main priority, be a damned sight easier to win as well, not that we won’t fuck that up though!!!
Not sure we will weaken too much but seems most big clubs treat the early rounds with doing just that! The FA Cup is certainly not seen in the same light as it used to be, will only be the 5th or 6th round before the big clubs get serious.

Moyes will field the 'cup' team against Brentford and I think we will actually do well against the Bees at long last!
Robbie Savage thinks our 'league' team will finish the season in 14th position in the PL .Lets hope he gets this right!

Would love to see the idiot who calls himself manager throw everything he has believed in these last few months out of the window and send the team out to attack from the start and go for it for 90 minutes. OK so our unfit lot wouldn't last 90 minutes but we have a strong bench now. Change everything, winning is what its about and if we get stuffed it doesn't really matter, he might get a surprise.

I would use it to play as close to the starting eleven I'd play against Wolves which is another week away... We're in desperate need of consistency.

We'll get beaten and Moyes will simply state that he is concentrating on the PL so 'I put out a weakened side'.
Now that Gold has passed Moyes is fireproof for because 'the board' will be too busy infighting for personal gain than concern themselves over the competence of our manager.
He's here for the season unless we are bottom 4 or 5 with a dozen games to go then we'll get in a firefighter hoping to save us or give it to Noble as caretaker and therefore wreck his confidence in the process.
Its fucking pathetic.

I was just looking at the odds on this.
Brentford have slightly lower odds 2.5 to win than us 2.8
However, outright we have much lower odds 34 than Brentford 67 !

Scammaca and Paqueta won't be risked an Injury, for the same reasons they were subbed after 65 mins at Leeds. I expect Aguerd, Dawson, Rice and Bowen will also be spared. Antonio, Downes, Coventry, Lanzini, Kehrer and Oggy to come in.

I can't see this one going well.
Brentford (fucking BRENTFORD) have our number. Lost all three games and manged ONE goal in those games. Fucking embarrassing. Almost as embarrassing as our Brighton record.

What a difference a year makes. 12 months ago we were screaming at the Board to reinforce a depleted squad. We’d have won that chuffing Europa if we had. Reinforced further with quality signings in the summer to launch our CL campaign - and kept Dec sweet into the bargain. And here we are, one year on, all quaking in our boots at taking on bloody Brentford! Sliding doors, eh.
